Fair Park Coliseum FAQ
By now you’ve heard that we’re moving to the Coliseum at Fair Park. As a devoted fan of Assassination City Roller Derby, you’re probably wondering what that means for you. So, we’ve put together a list of frequently asked questions so you’ll have all the information you need in advance of the next big bout.

1. Where is Assassination City Roller Derby moving?
We’ll be skating our 2011 home season at the Coliseum at Fair Park. The address is 1438 Coliseum Drive, Dallas, TX 75210.
Be sure to enter the parking lot through gate 10 or 11.

3. Where can I buy tickets?
You can still buy tickets at all the usual locations: www.acderby.com Dad’s Broadway Skateland, 3022 Moon Drive, Mesquite, TX Pluckers at Greenville and Lovers The Bone in Deep Ellum.  After 3:00 p.m. on the day of the bout, you can also buy tickets at the Fair Park Box Office.

4. Have bout times changed?
Yes, doors open at 5:15 p.m. and bouts begin at 6 p.m.

5. Have ticket prices changed?
Yes, tickets purchased in advance cost $15 for stadium seating and $18 for floor/VIP seating. Tickets purchased on the day of the bout at the Fair Park Box Office cost $17 for stadium seating and $20 for floor/VIP seating. Kids 10 and under still get in free.

6. Can I still bring my own chair?
Now that we’re in an arena, there’s plenty of seating for everyone and you no longer have to lug your own chair to the venue. General admission stadium seating is bleacher seating and floor/VIP seating is chair seating.

7. Can I still bring my own food and drink into the Coliseum?
You can no longer bring food and drink (including alcohol) into the venue however; a wide variety of food and beverages, including beer, will be available for purchase within the Coliseum.

8. I’m a season pass holder. What’s changing for me?
As a current season pass holder, other than the change in venue, your season pass remains the same. You still have all the access you previously had, but now you get to enjoy hard-hitting derby action at Fair Park. Plus you get the benefit of early entry into the venue, VIP/floor seating and access to our new VIP liaison.
We may still have some events at Dad’s Broadway Skateland throughout the season – for which your season pass is valid, and we’ll notify you well in advance of those events.

9. What will the bouts be like now that you’ve moved? Will it still be as personal as it’s always been?
Yes! Assassination City Roller Derby will still be as personal as it’s always been. We’ll just have more room for more people to enjoy it. We’ll still be playing hard-hitting, aggressive roller derby. Your favorite derby girls will still be mingling in the crowd when they’re not skating hard. There will still be access to floor seating for an up-close and personal derby experience. We’ll still host awesome half-time shows with some of the best local bands in the Metroplex. We’ll still offer lots of family-friendly entertainment. And now that we’ve got more space, we’ll also have lots of Metroplex artisans displaying their wares for your enjoyment and purchase. You’ll be able to watch two hard-hitting bouts, hear great live music, have an awesome family experience and possibly pick up the next big thing or a gift for a hard-to-buy-for friend or relative.

10. Why did parking prices go up?
Assassination City did cover half of the parking cost ($5) for our inaugural bout at the Coliseum at Fair Park.  We cannot control the parking vendors that work with the City of Dallas at Fair Park.  Parking for every event at Fair Park is $10, and unfortunately, this is a non-negotiable point with the City of Dallas and their vendors.  We encourage everyone who comes to our bouts to car pool, or take the Dart Green Line to Fair Park - to save on parking and to go green.  We appreciate your understanding and your continued support of Assassination City Roller Derby.
