Ever since Daisy could remember, she has always loved flowers. Growing up in a sea of bluebonnets in West Texas, she would spend her days making wildflower chains and frolicking in her parents’ peach orchard. When she turned 18, Daisy left to make a living with a bright, bustling little flower shop in the heart of Dallas, Tx. Every spring she would go to her hometown and spend all day lying among her flowers, counting butterflies and listening to mockingbirds chatter.

One spring, her parents begged her not to return home, saying that her childhood fields just weren’t the same anymore. Worried, Daisy caught the first bus to town, going straight to see her beloved bluebonnets. Her parents’ pleas didn’t come anywhere close to the devastation she would find. Every tiny petal, every hill, all destroyed in the name of building a highway. Tears streaming down her face, Daisy sank to her knees to mourn the construction graveyard of her childhood memories. As day turned to night, her tears turned to rage. Rising from the broken ground, Daisy staggered back to her parents’ house and found her daddy’s shotgun.

3 weeks later, Daisy stumbled into Assassination City, covered in dirt, sweat, and gun powder, wildly firing her shotgun at passing cars. Hearing the commotion, a girl in a bloody skirt exited the nearby roller rink and skated over to the collapsed Daisy. She bent low and said, “We could use someone like you.”
